Inducing labor early can risk baby's health

Approximately 20 percent of pregnancies come to a close through induction. There are a lot of reasons labor might be induced, and it turns out there are a lot of good reasons to avoid induction before 39 weeks.

Dr. Christopher Mernitz, an obstetrician-gynecologist at St.Vincent Women’s Hospital, talked with Shari Rudavsky at The Indianapolis Star about why inductions should wait.
