Women of Hope are gearing up for the 2012 Walk of Hope and Community Fair, and that means a lot of opportunity to get involved. If you’re new to Women of Hope, they’re a group of women (and men!) who want to do something positive about cancer and how it impacts themselves, their friends, family and the community.
In its inaugural year, the 2011 Walk of Hope and Community Fair raised more than $375,000 for the patients of St.Vincent Cancer Care. Over 1,000 people attended the community fair and several participated in the 15 mile, 3 mile or 1 mile walks.
The 2012 event is scheduled for October 6. In the meantime, here’s a look at the ways you can get involved right now. Visit StVincentWomenOfHope.org to find out more.
