Meet Our Physicians

		Beki Denman, MD Beki Denman is board certified in Ob/Gyn. She has been with Women’s Health Alliance since 1996. She graduated from Goshen College in 1988, and IU School of Medicine in 1992. Her residency was at St. Vincent Hospital and Health Care Center. During that time she served as an officer in the junior fellowship of ACOG.
		Charles R. Echt, MD Dr. Echt graduated from Indiana University Medical School in 1957. He interned at Cook County Hospital in 1958 and then began his Obstetric-Gynecology residency in 1958 at the Indiana University Medical Center. He then practiced OB-Gyn in the U.S. Air Force (Casablanca, Morocco) from 1959 – 1961. He finished his residency in 1964 and then did a fellowship in Gyn-Endocrinology at Michael Reese Hospital (Chicago, Illinois). He then was an Assistant Professor of Ob-Gyn at Indiana University from 1964 until 1970.
		Stefanie A. Flora, MD Dr Flora is a board certified OBGYN. She attended Indiana University for both her undergraduate and medical school work. Her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology was completed in 2003 at University of Virginia Health Sciences Center. Dr. Flora has special interest in high risk and normal risk obstetrics, daVinci robotic surgery, and pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence care.
		Catherine Hilliker, MD Dr. Catherine Hilliker completed her undergraduate degree at Cornell University in 1998 and obtained a Master’s of Physiology from Indiana University. She graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2004 with highest academic honors. Dr. Hilliker completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Pittsburgh, Magee-Womens Hospital in 2008. She is trained in minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic hysterectomy, incontinence, and robotic procedures. Dr. Hilliker has particular interests in infertility, teen patients, and all aspects of obstetrics.
		Julie A. Hirsch, MD Dr. Julie Hirsch is a board certified OB/GYN who has been in private practice since 1989. She obtained her BA at the University of Evansville and her medical degree at Indiana University. Her OB/GYN residency was completed at IU Medical Center. Dr. Hirsch has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery as well as all aspects of general gynecology.
		Daun Hooley, WHNP Daun Hooley has been has been a certified Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner since 1980 and a Registered Nurse since 1978. She attended the nurse practitioner program at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Dallas, Texas. While comfortable with nearly all areas of obstetrics and gynecological care, her primary interests are OB care, especially early OB education and interstitial cystitis. Daun has attended multiple conferences on pelvic pain caused by the bladder. She provides diagnostic evaluation and treatment of interstitial cystitis for women of all ages in the WHA practice.
		Lacee Melevage, RNC, WHC, NP Lacee Melevage is a certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who has been in private practice since 2006. She obtained her BSN at Indiana University and her master’s degree at Indiana University. Her OB/GYN clinical was completed at the St. Vincent Clinic. Lacee has a particular interest in nutrition and exercise as well as all aspects of general obstetrics and gynecology.
		Amy L. Moon, MD Amy Moon is a board-certified ob/gyn and has been practicing at Women’s Health Alliance since 2001 and is the practice’s managing partner. Dr. Moon graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1997 and completed her residency training at the IU Medical Center in Indianapolis in 2001. Dr. Moon has extensive experience with minimally invasive and other complex surgical procedures, including laparoscopic hysterectomies, Davinci (robotic) hysterectomies, myomectomies and bladder suspensions, among others. In addition to routine gynecologic and obstetric care, Dr. Moon’s areas of speciality include the management of polycystic ovarian syndrome, high risk pregnancies, endometriosis, interstitial cystitis and urinary incontinence.
		Sara H. Murphy, MD Dr. Sara Murphy is a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist who has been in private practice in the Indianapolis area since 1985. Dr. Murphy has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery, menopausal medicine (to include bio-identical hormone therapy) and sexual health. She is one of the few physicians in the Indianapolis area to be certified as a Menopausal Practitioner by the North American Menopause Society.
