Driven Like Danica

Every girl has a story to tell. A story of her past adventures, and her dreams of the future. If you’re a girl in grades 6-12, Danica Patrick wants to hear your story in the Driven Like Danica essay contest.

When writing your essay, consider the following questions:

  • What has inspired you so far in life?
  • Where – or who – do you look to for inspiration as you strive to reach new heights?
  • How you think the role of young women will evolve in the future?

The deadline to enter is Nov. 10. Fill out the form below to submit your essay.

PRIZES

  • The first 100 entrants will meet Danica Patrick at a special engagement in Indianapolis on Dec. 4, 2010
  • A winner from each grade will receive a $500 scholarship

One grand prize winner will win a free trip for four to see American Idol

RULES

  • Essays must be between 300-500 words
  • The deadline for entries is Nov. 10, 2010
  • Winners and event attendees will be notified by email or phone by Nov. 12
  • Essays will be judged by leaders of the local nonprofit Second Story based on content, creativity, and clarity
